STANDARD MENU FOR 3-COURSE MEAL

ANTIPASTI

(choose one or both of the following first courses)

Tuscan Platter

A platter of Tuscan-style beans in a seasoning of sage, green onions, prosciutto and spices; artichokes dressed with green onions, salt and pepper; and fresh tomatoes and fior di latte mozzarella.             

Bruschetta

Crusty Italian bread rubbed with garlic and toasted with a topping of diced tomatoes, olive oil, basil and seasoning. 

IL PRIMO

Your choice of pasta and sauce comprise our first course.  Please refer to our sauce catalog for choice of sauces.

IL SECONDO

(choose one or both of the following)

Pollo alla Pina

A boneless skinless chicken breast is marinated in lemon and white wine then seasoned with salt and pepper pan sautéed with a reduction of sweet butter, capers and finished off with heavy cream. 

Veal Involtini

A cutlet of veal is lined with prosciutto crudo and gruyere cheese, pan sautéed in sweet butter and served with a cream sauce.  (add $3.00 to standard price for veal).

*True to tradition, salad is served with the second course and is made with fresh spring greens, lemons, olive oil and seasoned with salt and pepper. Sourdough bread is served with this meal as well.

Aromi

Our most popular sauce—a red tomato sauce base with fresh parsley, sage and rosemary that is made pink with Romano cheese and cream

 

White Sauce with Peas

An Alfredo-style sauce prepared with sweet butter, cream and cheese and topped with peas

 

Aglio e Olio

A simple sauce of toasted garlic and extra virgin olive oil

 

Pesto

Basil, pine nuts, Romano cheese, garlic and oil are blended together

 

Arrabbiata

A spicy and “angry” sauce made with tomatoes, cayenne pepper and garlic

 

Marinara

A sailor’s favorite red sauce made with Kalamata olives and capers

 

Fresh Red Pepper

Red bell peppers, garlic, onions, basil and parsley

 

MEAT SAUCES

 

Matriciana

A traditional red meat sauce with garlic, onions and smoked pancetta

 

Sugo di Lina

Our traditional red sauce with ground beef.

 

Sausage

A red sauce loaded with mild, Italian sausage

 

Alfonso

Anchovies and garlic are toasted and served with infused olive oil

 

Vongole

Whole baby clams, green onions, parsley and olive oil

I Dolci

The meal is not complete without our desserts!  Add $6.00 to the price per person for dessert. Please view our desserts on the "This Week's Menu" page.

  • A 18% gratuity is added to the final bill.
  • You are also welcome to bring your own dessert. 
  • A corkage fee of $10.00 per bottle accompanies bottles of wine you bring in.
  • Non-Alcoholic beverages are included in the price indicated above.
  • La Piccoletta reserves the right to increase prices at any time.  Price quoted becomes firm once your deposit of $100.00 is received and the date is booked.

The Desserts
Insalata and "Pollo alla Pina"
